Welcome to the first blog post from Beauty by Eme! I have decided to flex my writing skills and begin this blog to let you know about the latest news, trends, latest treatments and ramblings from yours truly.
This first post is an introduction of sorts... I am Eme Agard, owner of Beauty by Eme. A business that has always been a passion project of mine that kind of turned into a business that I've worked alongside my other jobs and I love it so much. It has had an evolution throughout the years but I am a mobile beauty service that specialises in Calgel nails & other nail services, waxing, eye treatments and makeup.
I pride myself on having services for ALL, so please feel free to book in for a treatment with myself as everyone is welcome as long as you don't mind me plodding down the road with my outrageously pink glitter beauty suitcase and pink top emblazoned with my logo bumbling towards your home leaving a trail of glitter as a sweet reminder of me being your fairy beauty/nail godmother...
As you can probably guess from my portfolio, one of my favourite treatments to do is nails. Funny story actually (probably not going to be that funny), I actually didn't really enjoy doing nails whilst in college - the shock! The horror! I know, right?
I saw myself as a facialist or as a massage therapist however, after a dalliance with doing constant massages and facials in a salon, my love for those particular treatments began to wane and I just really loved the creativity of doing nails and the conversations I got to have with people from all walks of life. My particular fave is doing nail art, I just love being able out my 'Art Attack/Bob Ross' fantasy on your nails and I appreciate that, YOU appreciate it, so thank you.
Anywho, enough waffling from me. I hope I haven't bored you with my little tales but I can't wait to see my regular clients and hopefully meet some new ones too. I really do enjoy getting to meet all of you lot, having a chinwag and creating some super cool designs which you can see here and hopefully leaving your homes knowing that I have left you with a smile on your face and hopefully with the confidence of Lizzo or whom/whatever fills you with with the feeling of empowerment!
